Naming Doodle after a poisonous insect does not necessarily mean that he is going to die. In fact, it could've foreshadowed that Doodle would kill someone else - which he didn't do. The other option are all correct. Doodle in the coffin foreshadows his death. The scarlet ibis being described as having similar traits as Doodle shows their similarities and therefore foreshadows his death. At the beginning of the story the setting is described with very vivid language that shows death is eminent.
