In every balanced equation, one should find represented on both sides the same number of:

1) atoms; 2) coefficients; 3) isotopes; 4) molecules.

Respuesta :

For an equation to be balanced there has to be an equal number of atoms on both sides of it. If that is not the case then the equation is not balanced.

The answer here is atoms. That's what balanced means - you need to balance because of the law of conservation of mass.
