The first time I met my best friend was in 2007 when her family moved next door. When school started, Caitrin and I had handshakes, signs, and secret languages. Caitrin's older sister, Thalia, also hung out with us and my sister Georgia. Thalia was a little older, but she was still one of us. In summer we bathed in my pool and bathed in the sun with towels on the driveway, in winter we drank hot chocolate by the heat of the firewood. Since then we have been best friends.
