The difference in the ideology and partisan differences could be due to environmental factors.

These two twins although identical grew up in different places in the United States. They are most likely to be influenced by the opinion that is dominant in the area that they stay.

The one in California would be a liberal democrat especially if that is the dominant party system in the area while the one that is in Idaho would also identify with the popular ideas of the people in the area that she stays.
