B. Meiosis is division of a cell from diploid number of chromosomes to haploid number of chromosomes. This type of division is used for gametogenesis-or making of sex cells. If we look at the starting number of chromosomes, we see 4, then at the end of the diagram we see four cells each with 2 chromosomes.
