There are different instrument used on stage. The answers to the questions are written below;

The Types of Stage Lighting Fixtures are;

  • Ellipsoidal
  • Followspot
  • Fresnel

The types of Light Sources are;

  • The Natural light sources.
  • The Artificial light sources.
  • The Incandescent light sources.

The advantages of LEDs are;

  • LEDs are known to have a very long  lifespan and they  are also robust.
  • It often requires Low maintenance.
  • They have high Efficiency.

The disadvantages of LEDs are;

  • There is known to be a lack of standardization in the LED field.
  • LEDs are known to be quite expensive when compared with other light source.

The Key Light:  This is known to be the main light that is often used on a subject.

The Fill Light: This light is used to fill in the shadows formed due to the key light. It helps to hinders the shadows from getting too dark.

The wash Light: are known as light that fills up an area with light and also known to have soft edges on a beam. They are are known to evenly lighting up stages, architecture, etc.

A “Gobo” is known as a little patterned circular disc, and it is often used in lighting fixtures. They help to form a projected image.
