Chapter 2
Hotel bites
Ana goes to Panajachel, Guatemala. Her father goes with her to Guatemala. Her dad goes with her because he wants to volunteer at a hospital. Ana is going to live alone with a family. Ana's father speaks Spanish. Ana's father knows Guatemala and knows Pana (Panajachel). Dad goes with Ana to help. The two go to meet the new family. They spend the night in a hotel in Pana. It is a small hotel. In the morning, Ana and her father see that they have insect bites. They have many bites. Ana counts them one by one. -I have a lot of bites, dad. I don't like bites -says Ana.
