Rajshahi was a city filled with air pollution, but overtime they have heavily improved. One of the main contributors to the poor air quality were by the brick-making industry. Many reforms were made such as battery powered transportation instead of petrol or diesel and new urban planning has been made. Different programs has been created to help fight the poor air quality such as zero soil program. With the help of the community, the city has been improving heavily and the people are proud of their city. A resident who has been working in Europe for 10 years even reported how much the city has changed.
