A diary is a first hand account of the events in question. Anne is addressing her own experiences, good and bad, in her own words and emotions. Her diary has left us with a young girl's of WWII, the perspective of someone who didn't read about it or research it in a library, but rather, someone who lived it.

2. anne Frank's diary taught that we dont really need all the stuff we think we really need like tv or phone. anne learned how to enjoy even the smallest bit of life.

3. anne also left out diary letter from later period, March 1944. in those diary letter she had written about her conversation with peter, and what they had shared about the subject.
