The Suez Crisis, which is also referred to as the Second Arab–Israeli war, or the Tripartite Aggression in the Arab world and the Sinai War in Israel, was the invasion of Egypt in late 1956 which was orchestrated by the State of Israel.
The United Kingdom and France also joined in the crises because prior to that time, the Suez canal was owned and operated by the Suez canal company.
This company had served to a large extent, the interest of both the UK and France.
