What did you do?
1. I helped an elderly neighbor feed and brush her boa constrictors.
2. I answered questions on Brainly to help other students complete their assignments.
3. I volunteered at my neighborhood Sock Bank.
How did you feel after being a good neighbor?
I felt like a million bucks. I feel like I can take on the world. After helping other students answer their homework assignments and my neighbor with her large snakes, I really felt good.
What was your neighbor’s response?
My neighbor was really relieved that I helped her with her boa constrictors because she's had incidents in the past where the snake got a little frisky and tried to eat her grandson. She was happy to have the help.
Other students were happy I could help them with their assignments because they really didn't feel like doing the work, so I was able to do that for them.
Helping at the sock bank was great, except for all of the socks with missing partners. That was really sad as now there are a bunch of socks who will have to finish out the rest of their lives with no sole mate.
How can you continue to be a good neighbor?
I can continue to be a good neighbor by contiuing my work to match missing socks, helping the elderly, and doing my own work and not asking strangers on the internet to do it for me. It really feels like something I can do and maintain on a regular basis.
Were you able to keep your identity a secret?
I was able to maintain my secret identity online because that is private. I kept my identity secret at the sock bank with a ski mask, and my elderly neighbor has really poor vision so I stole her bi-focals and she thought I was another grandkid, I think. It's nice to do things without my identity being known, I just get to do good for the sake of doing good!
