Otto Von Bismarck was the Prussian prime minister between 1867 - 1890.
He shaped Prussia to be the main heart of Germany at that time such that he made them go into wars to conquer lands and territories.
During the beginning of his rule, he was conservative in a manner that avoided a major war with Austria at the time. He made a statement against the parliament then and managed to convince the king at the time that Prussia was not ready for war which was the truth. He went further to make a complete overhaul in the Prussia military such that they went to several wars and conquered territories. He was a smart and logical leader and knew the best time to go to war and also avoid it. Towards the end of his rule, he tried to ensure peace all over Europe to the surprise of everyone.
