Based on the equation for resistors in parallel:

[tex]\frac{1}{R_T} = \frac{1}{R_1} + \frac{1}{R_^2} }+ ...+\frac{1}{R_n}[/tex]

The total resistance is the reciprocal of the inverses of each resistance summed up.

Thus, for any resistance and amount of resistors in parallel, the total resistance will have a value lower than any of the individual resistors.
