carol cut 2 1/2 inches off her hair three times last year. how much longer would her hair been if she had not cut it?

2.5 times three for the three years she didnt cut it would be 7.5 inches so in total her hair would have been 7 1/2 inches longer if she hadnt cut it.
&.5 is right did the math :)
