A skatin rink sold 66 tickets. of these 2/3 were children's tickets, and the rest were adult tickets. What total number of adults tickets were sold?

children=2\3 x 66=44
adult=66-44=22
answer=22 tickets 
If 2/3 of the tickets sold were kid tickets, then 1/3 was adult tickets. 1/3 of 66 is 22 so there were 22 adult tickets sold and 44 children tickets sold. Hope this helps!!
