My advice make the hook very catchy. Since I'm assuming you're against it. Make your hook show this. Like "Bullying is the worst evil someone has to overcome" depending on the severity of your essay. If you aren't being that dramatic don't do that. But make your hook like what you want your essay to be. The hook sets the rest of the essay.
First, plan out the main points to be discussed in each body paragraph. Ideas should be well-organized and easily followed by the reader. Language must be clear and precise. Word choice can also have some emotional impact while at the same time completely appropriate for school use. Details to support main ideas may include facts, statistics, examples, and anecdotes.
