Assignment Directions
Search the Internet for ongoing research projects about food safety and sanitation. Consult governmental or education sites for projects, such as the Research Projects Database, or use the organizations and links provided in Additional Resources at the beginning of this lesson.

Find at least two research projects and summarize them. What are the research questions? Why is this research important?

Submission Requirements
In a 500-word document, summarize new findings or recent research related to food safety and sanitation. Be sure to include all source information: article titles, authors, institutions (i.e. government or educational) and dates.

Types of Research Questions. Research questions are broadly categorized into 2; that is, qualitative research questions and quantitative research questions. Qualitative and quantitative research questions can be used independently and co-dependently in line with the overall focus and objectives of your research.
