The two organizations that fought to promote the cause of hispanic americans are; LULAC and American GI Forum
The organizations responsible for promotion of the cause of hispanic americans are known as Chicano Organizations. There were a couple of organizations championing this cause but we will streamline to two described below;
1) LULAC: This is an acronym for League of United Latin American Citizens. It was founded in 1929 Corpus Christi, Texas and is the most important Mexican American civil rights organization for much of the 20th century.
2) American GI Forum; The American GI Forum (AGIF) was a Congressionally chartered Hispanic veterans and civil rights organization founded on March 26, 1948 to address the concerns of Mexican-American veterans, who were segregated from other veterans groups. The motto of this organization is; "Education is Our Freedom and Freedom should be Everybody's Business".
