A movie theater sells two sizes of popcorn, large and small, in bags shaped like rectangular prisms. The small bag has a height of 5.5 inches, a length of 5 inches, and a width of 3 inches. The large bag has the same width and length as the small bag, but two times the volume. What is the height of the large bag of popcorn?

the solution is:

u should at the first find the volume of the small bag that V= LWH ( Lenght, width, height)

so it will be 82.5

since the Volume of the large bag is 2 times the volume of the small bag so the volume of large bag will be 165

so H = V / LW

H = 165 / 5×3

H = 165 / 15

So the Answer is H = 11
