From 1912 to 1960 many efforts were made to end the apartheid law through the protest, campaigning, entering into the white areas, fighting for the political considerations etc.
What was the apartheid law?
The apartheid law was the policy of the segregation of the whites from the blacks and giving privileges to the whites over the blacks. Thus it was political and economical segregation of the people.
There was tremendous efforts made by the people and Nelson Mandela to end the apartheid law that is is by picketing in front of the whites areas, entering into the white areas and campaigning against them.
They were successful in their efforts by convincing the South African president F. W. de Klerk to end apartheid. They were allowed to vote for the first time.
