mRNA moves out of the nucleus into the cytoplasm and attaches to another RNA called rRNA, a protein assembly site referred to as the ribosome.
This is referred to an organelle which is responsible for protein synthesis in cells.
The mRNA is used as a template for the rRNA to attach at this point to aid in protein translation and production. rRNA ensures that the appropriate amino acids are added and also form part of the ribosome which are involved in catalysis of the reaction.
