Perimeter of rectangle

  • Side 1: 8x² − 5x − 2

  • Side 2: 7x − x² + 3

  • Perimeter = 4x³ − 3x² + 2x − 6

Total length of side 1 and 2 = (8x² − 5x − 2) + (7x − x² + 3)

= 8x² - 5x - 2 + 6x - x² + 3

= 7x² + x + 1

Length of the third side = perimeter - Total length of side 1 and 2
