It is not fair to compare an individual's score on a test to the scores of other individuals taking the same test because it can lead to demotivation among students

Comparing one child to another is seen as casual and commonplace. They fail to see the fact that it has a severe negative impact on the child's mental health. Two children cannot be the same, just as no two colours can ever be the same. Comparing them has never been beneficial to anybody. Most comparisons happen when kids are in school or are otherwise continuing their education.

Comparing students always has a negative impact and is counterproductive. The kid feels uncomfortable and stressed out by constant comparison to a peer. This causes long-term stress and mental health problems. The contrast makes students lose concentration when studying.

When students are compared to one another, it puts more pressure on them. Pressure to perform well or pressure to be in charge always sneaks in. Long-term stress can negatively impact a child's emotional wellbeing and academic performance.
