Both Nubia and Ancient Egypt experienced times of peace and conflict. Based on rock art, it is thought that early Egyptian pharaohs and Nubian kings both employed comparable royal emblems.
Marriages between the two did take place, and there was frequently harmonious cultural exchange and cooperation.
In the southern part of Egypt, in the Nile Valley, is Nubia. Over the years, there was no conflict between Nubians and Egyptians. Egypt continued to hold a high standing among the Nubians due to its more powerful empire.
Nubians were drawn to Egypt's rich culture and civilization, which they later replicated in numerous ways. Small kingdoms made up the oldest Egyptian and Nubian states.
