What is Medications?
We use pharmaceuticals to manage our everyday lives, treat both acute and chronic illnesses, and ease the symptoms of medical disorders. Medications can be hazardous even when they may have positive effects. It may be beneficial to relieve pain with medicines. But with time, we can develop a tolerance to the medicine and require a higher dose to experience its benefits. While some medications, such as tranquilizers, may assist to reduce stress, relying on drugs to do so can have negative effects on our health and interpersonal relationships. Additionally, while taking a drug as directed or as prescribed might help us maintain our health, exceeding the advised amount can be detrimental to it.
