The Wizard of Oz is an American musical fantasy film which was produced in the year 1939 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
The Movie was adapted from L. Frank Baum's 1900 children's fantasy novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
The story line follows a tornado storm that rips through Kansas where Dorothy and her dog, Toto lived.
They were both carried away in their house to the magical land of Oz. On their was through the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, they met a Scarecrow, a Tin Man and a Cowardly Lion and each needing a brain, a heart and courage respectively
In other to earn his help the wizard demand that the person who brings the broom of the Wicked witch of the West will receive his help.
