please help, Solve the system of equations using elimination.

−2x + 3y = 13
x + y = 11

(−5, 1)
(−3, 3)
(3, 8)
(4, 7)

-2x + 3y = 13
-3(x + y = 11)
take the whole bottom equation and multiply by -3 to eliminate the 3y
-2x + 3y = 13
-3x -3y = -33
cancel out 3y
-2x = 13
-3x = -33
add -2 to -3 and 13 to -33
to get -5x = -20
divide -5 on both sides
x = 4
then you can do the exact same steps to find the y coordinates, but if x is 4 then the coordinate point is (4,7)
