I’m stumped on this question
can someone please help me try to solve this?

Remember that PEMDAS tells you to deal with your exponents before multiplying or dividing.
Since p = 7 and m = 4,we have (7)²(4) ÷ 4 or 49(4) ÷ 4.
Now when we multiply and then divide by the same value, we essentially cancel it to just 1 so we have 49(1) which is just 49.
Hi there!
You seem to be on the right track.
Question: p²m ÷ 4
m=4, and p=7
Replacing with the given values:
7²(4) ÷ 4
→49×4/4
→196/4
.: 49 is the final answer.
