Changes are an important aspect in any society. As cities had grown with increasing commerce and trade, the new theories of governance had given a big push to trade, along with this,

the relationship between government and the public became one in which public had given more representation than, the person on the bigger seat.

As, cities expanded with trade and commerce, the thoughts and ideas started travelling much faster from one place to the other, as more and more people started getting aware of their rights and new governments,

they started demanding their rights, and replacement of monarchies, where people had very less or no representation to a system of government in which their representation was reflected greatly.

A new form of social structure or a democratic social institutions had been established with growth and development of cities with trade and commerce,

Education and new ideas of "liberty", propagated from one continent to another which further encouraged social revolutions.
