The aquatic biome is divided into two regions, first is freshwater and the second is marine regions. Fresh water consist of lakes and rivers which is less salt concentrated while the marine region consist of estuaries and oceans that are more salt concentrated. Marine or aquatic biome is found in 5 main oceans, the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Indian, the Arctic and the Southern ocean.
