Clade diapsids does not include humans.
The term diapsid refers to a group of organisms with dual temporal fenestrae (holes in the temporal bone) on either side of the skull. This trait is mostly found in the classes Reptilia and Aves. As a result, humans and other mammals are not included in the clade diapsids.
Diapsida is a diverse reptile clade. Lizards, snakes, turtles, birds, and crocodylians are modern diapsids; dinosaurs, pterosaurs, ichthyosaurs, and many other familiar taxa are extinct diapsids. Even birds are classified as diapsids (and thus reptiles) because they are descended from certain dinosaurs (which are also diapsids) and share the paired skull openings and other physical characteristics with diapsids.
