Hermann Ebbinghaus's forgetting curve shows the rate of forgetting increases as time goes on about the nature of storage decay.

Hermann Ebbinghaus (24 January 1850 – 26 February 1909) was a German psychologist who pioneered the experimental observation of memory and is thought for his discovery of the forgetting curve and the spacing impact. He became also the primary man or woman to explain the learning curve.

Hermann Ebbinghaus hypothesized that the velocity of forgetting depends on quite a number of things including the problem of the learned cloth (e.g. how meaningful it is), its representation, and different physiological elements inclusive of strain and sleep.
