Who is Reginald Gibbons?
A poet, fiction writer, translator, and literary critic, Reginald Gibbons was born in the United States in 1947. He is an Arts and Humanities Frances Hooper Professor at Northwestern University.
The poet is terrified of the terrible and inhumane position of having to eat dirt if they don't have any money. He worries that the world may descend into total craziness as a result of such greed for money.
The poet contends that because money has a depressed and oppressed man, he has lost his sense of reason regarding it.
