The two organ systems that work together to regulate water balance in the body are cardiovascular and excretory.

Water is a crucial component of the body. Almost 60℅ of the human body is made up of water. It helps the macromolecules in the body to travel, regulates the temperature, aids in chemical reactions, acts as a lubricant absorber, and excretes out toxins from the body.

The cardiovascular system transports blood throughout the body and helps to detect solute and water levels. It also helps to maintain blood pressure in the body. The kidneys help to maintain the water balance in the body. If the water level rises too much, the excretory system helps to get the body rid of excess water and produces more dilute urine. On the other hand, if it gets too low, urine produced then is more concentrated to conserve water for the body.
