For a long time now, Woolworths is known to have worked using a structured charity organizations to engage CSI initiatives  as they often donate their surplus food from food saved to communities that are known to need the support.

Note that they tend to contributes to the reduction of hunger in local communities as well as lower  food waste to landfill from their own operations.
