When developing an appropriate nursing diagnosis, the nurse needs to keep in mind the mental condition of the patient, moral strength and the physical condition of the patient side by side she should keep in mind the physical strength of that particular patient.

  • By making changes as necessary to the three types of factors that affect diagnostic accuracy—the diagnostician, the nature of the diagnostic task, and the situational context—nurses can improve the accuracy of nurses' diagnoses in both practice and education.
  • Prioritize any nursing diagnosis that have an immediate bearing on the patient's survival or pose a danger to their mortality. This could be connected to the patient's access to the needs of life, such as air, water, and food.
