Don Bolduc, a Republican running for the New Hampshire Senate, earned the democratic nominee on Tuesday after weeks of falsely claiming that the 2020 elections would be stolen from the previous president Donald Trump.
A little over a day afterwards, he made an effort to change his mind. A new test will be whether a fervent conservative can win over more moderate general election voters. Retired Army Brig. Gen. Donald Bolduc secured New Hampshire's Senate Primary election on Wednesday and will now face possibly fragile Democratic incumbent Maggie Hassan in November.
Karoline Leavitt, who served in the Trump White House press office, defeated several more seasoned Republican with ties to the former president on Tuesday in New Hampshire's 1st Congressional Seat, where many of the same forces affecting the former president were also in play.
