I’m confused about this equation.Make W the subject of the formula

Step 1
Given;
[tex]2W\text{ + 5Q=3P}[/tex]Required; To make w the subject of the formula
Step 2
Move 5Q to the right-hand side of the equation. Remember when we do this the positive sign on 5Q will change to negative.
[tex]\begin{gathered} 2W+5Q=3P \\ Move\text{ 5Q to the right-hand side-- 2W=3P-5Q} \end{gathered}[/tex]Step 3
We want to make W stand-alone, however, 2 is still attached to it. That is W is multiplied by 2. We then divide both sides of the equation by 2
[tex]\begin{gathered} \frac{2W}{2}=\frac{3P-5Q}{2} \\ W=\frac{3P-5Q}{2} \end{gathered}[/tex]Answer;
[tex]W=\frac{3P-5Q}{2}[/tex]
