Decomposers are organism that breakdown dead or decaying organism they carried out decomposition and process possible by only certain kingdom such as fungi

Primary role of decomposers in ecosystem are the cycle matter by returning carbon and other matter to the ecosystem because they use oxygen in their breakdown process and at the end of the breakdown they return nutrient like carbon dioxide and nitrogen back to the ecosystem and they break everything down and when they breakdown the matter they are adding nutrient back into the earth and someone kill the bacteria and other decomposers in a lake then the cycling of matter would not go further and that's why total ecosystem get blown
