The Atlanta Hawks scored 92 points in a basketball game. They made a total of 41 baskets. Some baskets were 2-points and some were 3points. Create a system of equations to represent the problem and find the number of 2- and 3-point baskets made by graphing.

x + y = 41
2x + 3y = 92
These system of equations should be:
92=2x + 3y
41=x + y

Then to graph you have to isolate the variable:
41=x + y turns to y=41 - x
(Isolated the y so it's easier to graph)

Then you replace x in the other equation:
92=2(41-y) + 3y

Now you solve:
92=82+ 1y
10=y
