Opera Reform was an Italian musical movement in the 1750s that aimed to create more "natural" opera. more adaptable design, greater expressiveness, and reduced voice presentation, more varied performing forces (increased use of ensembles and orchestra), choruses were reestablished, and stiffer opposition was put up to the irrational demands of solo singers.
