Partial pressure of gas B in a mixture of two gases with a total pressure of 1.80atm is 0.90atm.

Partial pressure of a gas is explained by Daltons law of partial  pressure. According to the law, the total pressure in a mixture of gas is the sum of the partial pressure of each gases.

     P = P1 + P2...

where P is the total pressure of the gas in the mixture. P1 and P2 are the partial pressure of each gases. Partial pressure of gas A is 0.70atm and the Total pressure of the mixture of the gases is 1.80atm.

so partial pressure of gas B is obtained by substracting total pressure of the gases by partial pressure of the gas A .we already have the value of total pressure of the gases and the partial pressure of gas A . putting the value of the both in the expression,

 P2 = P - P1

      = 1.80atm - 0.70atm

      = 0.90atm

so the partial pressure of gas B is 0.90atm.
