The scientific method is not limited.
The scientific method is defined as an empirical method for gaining knowledge of the development of science. It includes the careful observation, applying rigorous procedures about what we have observed, given that cognitive assumptions can distort how one interprets the observation. It involves formulating hypotheses, via induction, based on such observations; the testability of hypotheses, experimental and the measurement-based statistical testing of deductions drawn from the hypotheses; and refinement (or elimination) of the hypotheses based on the experimental findings.
Hence, the scientific method is not limited it goes on and on based upon the change in the experimental observations, assumptions predictions and hypothesis.
