When using this mode, your most recent work can be stored on the storage drive because RAM directly offloads work into RAM. When you turn on the computer, you can immediately connect to the work you did last, even though it's not as fast as when it's in Sleep mode.

The right time to use Hibernate mode: when you want to leave the computer for a long time, such as sleeping.

  • Shut Down

With Shut down mode, it means you turn off all programs and operating systems on the laptop. Laptops in Shutdown mode do not consume electricity at all. When you want to use a laptop, you have to start with the boot process and wait until the computer is ready to work again. The boot process may take longer than when you use Hibernate. Because of this, many people prefer Hibernate over Shut Down. However, please note that there are some software that cannot work properly after using Hibernate mode.
