the nation that has threatened world security in recent years because of its interest in becoming a nuclear power is : North Korea
Though it's really hard to find any information about the country since their president heavily censored the flow of information, we managed to find a few video footage of them testing several of their weapons.

North Korea is no longer a party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. The country has a military nuclear weapons program and also chemical and biological weapons. This has caused concern all over the world, as it places a significant threat to world security.
