Most everyone joined in that Gold Rush. From every corner of the globe, infact. They mostly got there through high water. Some of those involved include: butchers, bakers, candlestick makers, tinkers, tailors, soldiers, and sailors. Most were prospecting, though the ones who made it were mostly those who actually pursued their OWN business supplying goods and services at vastly inflated prices.
