Jacobi bought 7 and 1/2 pounds pf meatballs. He decided to cook 1 and 1/4 pounds and freeze the rest. how many pounds did he freeze

If he cooked one and a quarter then he froze six and a quarter

You would have to find a common denominator between 2 and 4 which is four, then make equivalent fractions , then subtract, remember to simplify with the greatest common factor.
