We can do this by first figuring out what percent voted against extending recess.  We do this by subtracting 80 from 100, which equals 20.  Now, we multiply 0.20 by 30 to find how many teachers voted against.  This is equal to 6, so 6 teachers voted against extending recess.
6 is the answer. just multiply 30 by 0.2
