Well if the top thing has nothing to do with it then just count the squares for one of them and then put a decimal point before that number for the decimal and put a percent sign next to it for the percent. Example for 1: there's 43 squares so .43 and 43%
All we have to do is count in the shaded parts for each grid. For example, the first grid has 43 squares shaded in. This 43 is out of a total of 100 total squares, making the fraction 43/100. The decimal form is just putting 43 and moving the decimal pount two places to the left (0.43) and the percent would be our original number with a percent sign next to it (43%).

2)0.08 and 8%
3) 0.52 and 52%
