HELP PLEASE

Respuesta :

I believe the answer is C. the individual against society. Romanticism is gothic type of literature, the more popular forms of this writing style are from the older days where being 'romantic' or 'in love' were scorned and looked down upon. So, if this were to occur, as it does in this genre of book, then the individual would be against society. For example romeo and juliet(I know it's down in the records as a comedy but it has some romantic theme to it and proves my point) were in love, and everyone looked down upon them for this. They had to hide their love because it was not acceptable to chose the one that you loved, they were often chosen for you.
